Upgrade your fireplace efficiency and restore proper draft control with a premium Drop-In Damper. Designed for installations where a traditional top-mount damper is not practical, these dampers are an ideal solution for replacing warped, worn-out, or defective fireplace dampers in masonry and factory-built chimney systems.
Manufactured from heavy-duty stainless steel for long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance, drop-in dampers install directly into the chimney flue and operate easily from inside the firebox. Their recessed design allows use beneath most chimney caps while helping improve energy efficiency by reducing drafts and heat loss when the fireplace is not in use.
Drop-in dampers are designed for use with open wood-burning fireplaces only. They should not be used on chimneys serving vented gas logs or gas appliances unless specifically approved by the appliance manufacturer and local building authority.
A properly functioning chimney damper helps prevent conditioned air from escaping through the chimney while reducing downdrafts and improving overall fireplace performance. Replacing a failed damper can significantly improve comfort, efficiency, and chimney protection throughout the year.

A: We ship throughout the continental United States with free shipping on orders over $99 (flat rate $9.99 under $99). For Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories, please contact us for a custom shipping quote, which we'll provide within 1-2 business days. Orders to these locations are not processed until shipping costs are confirmed and approved. We do not currently offer international shipping outside of the United States and its territories.

Custom-made and made-to-order products require 2-3 weeks for production before shipment. Special order items typically take 1-2 weeks. You'll receive tracking information once your order ships.
