The Elite Radiant is a vented gas burner, which means it goes into a working fireplace with an open flue and produces the tall, lazy flame that reads as a real wood fire. Vented burners do not pretend to be heaters — most of the warmth goes up the chimney — but nothing else looks like them.
What makes this line worth understanding is that Empire sells the same burner at four different control levels, and the gap between cheapest and dearest is roughly $475. You are not buying a better flame as you go up; you are buying convenience and safety features.

A: We ship throughout the continental United States with free shipping on orders over $99 (flat rate $9.99 under $99). For Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories, please contact us for a custom shipping quote, which we'll provide within 1-2 business days. Orders to these locations are not processed until shipping costs are confirmed and approved. We do not currently offer international shipping outside of the United States and its territories.

A: Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, and delivery after shipment takes 5–14 business days depending on your location. Custom-made and made-to-order products require 2-3 weeks for production before shipment. Special order items typically take 1-2 weeks. You'll receive tracking information once your order ships.
