Dynamic Heat Control for the Napoleon Elevation X EX36 and EX42 (DHCEX) moves the fireplace's heat out through an air outlet in the enclosure and into the room, keeping the wall above the opening much cooler. That allows combustible finishes right up to the opening in most installs, needs no fans, ducts or extra wiring, and makes room for a TV or artwork above (check the TV maker's guidance). The kit goes in with the fireplace, before venting and gas, and the enclosure needs a properly sized air outlet kept clear of decor. Choose it instead of the cement board kit or the Hot Air Distribution Kit, not alongside either. $125.

For Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories, please contact us for a custom shipping quote, which we'll provide within 1-2 business days. Custom-made and made-to-order products require 2-3 weeks for production before shipment. Special order items typically take 1-2 weeks. You'll receive tracking information once your order ships.
