A 40,000 BTU/hr gas fire table that is also a table. The Napoleon Hamptons Rectangle Patioflame is a 52" x 32" hand-painted grey aluminum table, 25" high, with a stainless steel burner in a topaz glass ember bed, push-button electronic ignition and a thermocouple safety valve that shuts the gas off if the flame goes out. Choose it if you want a ready-made fire table for a patio or deck that seats a group around a long, rectangular flame, runs from a hidden 20 lb or 30 lb propane cylinder or from a natural gas line, and doubles as an ordinary table with the lid on.

It is listed to ANSI Z21.97-2014 / CSA 2.41-2014 for outdoor decorative gas appliances.
The Hamptons Square (HAMP2-GY) is the same 40,000 BTU/hr table with the same ignition, glass ember bed, lid and warranty, on a square burner pan in a 42" x 42" top at the same 25" height. No. It is an outdoor decorative gas appliance that burns in the open air, so there is no vent to run. What it needs instead is the right location: under an overhead cover it can have no more than two sidewalls, or three when at least 30% of the surrounding sides stay permanently open.
Both. It ships set up for propane, and the cylinder stands inside the base behind the door. For natural gas, the orifice to convert it is in the box; a licensed gas fitter swaps it and connects the line, which needs a readily accessible manual shut-off valve. Input is 40,000 BTU/hr on either fuel.
Yes. A matching lid ships with it and sits over the burner to give you a flat table top. Take the lid off before you light the burner, and put it back only after the table has cooled.
Turn it off when it rains; drainage holes in the burner pan let the water drain away afterwards. It keeps burning in a light breeze but shuts down when gusts top 10 mph, which is why a sheltered spot is best. The rectangle windscreen, sold separately, shields the flame.
Napoleon's President's 3 Year Limited Warranty covers the aluminum table top and pedestal, the stainless steel housing and the burner assembly for 3 years and all other parts for 2 years, with replacement parts supplied by Napoleon; labour is not covered. It applies to a home installation done by a licensed technician or contractor. Keep your invoice and the model and serial number.
