The optional blower for the Napoleon Knightsbridge GDS60 direct vent gas stove, natural gas or propane. Running the fan pushes more of the stove's heat into the room. It is thermally activated: once switched on, it starts about 15-30 minutes after the stove lights and keeps going about 30-45 minutes after you shut the stove off. The housing mounts to the stove's rear panel with four screws. Its cord needs a grounded outlet, and with the stove as close to the wall as allowed, the switch and cord may be hard to reach. Keep drywall dust away from it; dust in the bearings is not covered by the warranty. $509.
