The SpringTop Damper is a high-quality top-sealing chimney damper designed to improve energy efficiency while protecting your chimney system from weather, moisture, debris, and animals. Engineered for long-lasting performance, the SpringTop Damper creates a tight seal at the top of the chimney to help prevent heated or cooled air from escaping your home when the fireplace is not in use.
Unlike traditional throat dampers that often leak air over time, the SpringTop Damper seals directly at the chimney top, helping reduce drafts and lowering heating and cooling loss throughout the year. This top-mounted design also acts as a chimney cap, helping prevent rain, snow, leaves, insects, birds, and other animals from entering the flue while reducing moisture-related chimney deterioration caused by freeze and thaw cycles.
Manufactured with a durable cast frame and heavy-duty stainless steel springs, the SpringTop Damper is built to resist rust, corrosion, and harsh weather conditions. The lightweight lid design allows for smooth operation while placing less stress on the spring system for reliable long-term use.
The damper is operated from inside the fireplace using the included 30’ cable system, allowing homeowners to easily open and close the damper as needed. Its low-profile appearance remains virtually invisible from the ground while still providing maximum protection and performance.

A: We ship throughout the continental United States with free shipping on orders over $99 (flat rate $9.99 under $99). For Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories, please contact us for a custom shipping quote, which we'll provide within 1-2 business days. Orders to these locations are not processed until shipping costs are confirmed and approved. We do not currently offer international shipping outside of the United States and its territories.

A: Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, and delivery after shipment takes 5–14 business days depending on your location. Custom-made and made-to-order products require 2-3 weeks for production before shipment. Special order items typically take 1-2 weeks. You'll receive tracking information once your order ships.
