The DRT3500 Series of traditional direct vent gas fireplaces combines beauty, efficiency and performance. A wide selection of finish options include; Vista inside fit or multiple decorative outside fit facades (1-required) and black reflective porcelain or a variety of ceramic fiber liners (1-required). Standard features include: combination top/rear flue, electronic IPI/CPI ignition with seamless battery back-up, high definition ceramic fiber logs, interior lighting, ceramic glass, variable speed blower and full function remote. All required façade options are equipped with a standard protective screen barrier The DRT3500 Series is the true representation of fully-featured value. Equipped standard with appealing features such as ceramic glass, interior illumination, full-function remote, and blower kit. Is the venting included?
No. Like every manufacturer, Superior sells the pipe separately because every house needs a different run. Use the Secure Vent 4.5/7.5 (rigid) or Secure Flex page to pick the lengths, elbows and termination, or call us with your framing height and we will build the vent kit for you.
Natural gas or propane?
Choose the fuel at the top of the page; the unit ships configured for that gas from the factory. Conversion kits are listed under optional accessories if you ever switch.
Do I have to pick a facade?
Yes — Superior requires one of the listed facades to finish the opening and it comes with the safety barrier screen. The Vista frame is the inside-fit option; the Reflection and Craftsman facades overlap the finished wall.
What does the interior panel option change?
The look inside the firebox. The standard interior is painted black; the stacked-stone and porcelain liners replace it with a brick or reflective finish and are installed at the factory price shown.
Who installs it?
This unit is sold and shipped direct from the manufacturer; installation is by your own certified hearth installer, working from the manual below.

A: We ship throughout the continental United States with free shipping on orders over $99 (flat rate $9.99 under $99). For Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories, please contact us for a custom shipping quote, which we'll provide within 1-2 business days. Orders to these locations are not processed until shipping costs are confirmed and approved. We do not currently offer international shipping outside of the United States and its territories.
Q: When Will My Order Ship?
A: Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, and delivery after shipment takes 5–14 business days depending on your location. Custom-made and made-to-order products require 2-3 weeks for production before shipment. Special order items typically take 1-2 weeks. You'll receive tracking information once your order ships. For specific timing on your order, please contact us.
